This Protect Trans* Kids hoodie carries the same message as the tee but in a warmer, everyday layer. You can choose the version with an asterisk beside Trans* or the version without. The asterisk version is included because some people use it to signal a wider range of gender-diverse identities. Others prefer Trans on its own because the word already includes nonbinary and gender creative kids. You get to choose what feels right to you.
We shaped this design with input from local trans and queer community members who shared what language and colours felt most accurate to their lived experiences. This collaboration guided every part of the design so it reflects real voices, not assumptions. Every hoodie also sends $1 back to pflag London to help support programs for trans youth, caregivers and families in our region.
